For some reason the game is in Russian for me and I have no idea how to change it to English I know where the options are but cant tell if theres a language setting in there someone help please? No not a clue sorry. There's a possibility these still work. Thats only for the text:/ they still speak in english.but the funny part is all cutscenes are in german. Yeah I meant the text. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is getting a new patch tomorrow, August 26, and it's a small one. The update takes aim at some nasty issues that have been affecting the game's Imperial Heroes, specifically Darth Maul, Darth Vader, and General Grievous.

Darth Vader's damage reduction traits could be built up over time, which was allowing him to survive more than the developers intended. General Grevious's Claw Rush currently hits more times than it should, so that's getting nerfed. And Darth Maul should be able to block after performing his Spin Attack now. The patch will go live at 12 PM PT / 3 AM ET on August 26.

Battlefront 2's final major update came back in May 2020, and it brought the Supremacy and Instant Action modes to a number of new maps, including Hoth and Tatooine. It also added Rise of Skywalker-themed costumes for major heroes, including Kylo Ren and Darth Maul.

The full patch notes for the August 26 update are listed below:

  • Fixed an issue that would allow players to build up Darth Vader's damage reduction traits.
  • Fixed an issue where General Grievous' Claw Rush attack could hit opponents multiple times in a short time.
  • Fixed an issue where Darth Maul would not be able to block after performing Spin Attack while blocking.
  • Fixed an issue where inaccurate VFX would play around Boba Fett's jetpack while he is ragdolled.
  • Fixed an issue where Boba Fett's jetpack icon would not be greyed out while his abilities are blocked.
  • Updated in-game EA Access and Origin Access logos with EA Play logos.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 update 1.24 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC is now available for players. According to the official Battlefront 2 1.24 patch notes, the new update brings Count Dooku and Geonosis changes. Geonosis is now available in a selection of other game modes, including Arcade. Apart from this, Battlefront 2 version 1.24 resolves issues related to the Squad System, server performance, game client bugs, and more.

Previously, a big update was released with new features and changes. Unfortunately, since the release of this update, many players were experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Star Wars Battlefront 2 patch 1.23 update is expected to fix all these issues.

FEATURES

  • Count Dooku is now playable and unlocked via Credits. Count Dooku comes with three abilities: Lightning Stun, Expose Weakness, and Duelist. A master duelist, Count Dooku excels at close combat with a lightsaber and can deflect lightsabers easier than other lightsaber heroes. While his skills with a lightsaber are to be feared, opponents will also be wise to avoid his Lightning Stun ability, where he can quickly unleash a blast of lightning. Opponents caught in the blast radius will be thrown to the ground. Calculating and confident, you should approach Count Dooku with caution. Count Dooku will be available to unlock via credits only, costing 35,000.
  • Geonosis is now available on Blast, Heroes Vs Villains and Custom Arcade.

Hero and Classes Changes in Battlefront 2 1.24

  • Fixed several issues with abilities not always registering due to map geometry factors. Force heroes whose abilities’ reliability should be improved include Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Luke Skywalker, Rey, Yoda, Kylo Ren. Iden Versio’s “Stun Droid” as well as Emperor Palpatine’s “Electrocute” have also been improved.
  • Battlefront 2 update 1.24 addressed issues where the audio for several character’s dialogues was reversed or missing.
  • Fixed an issue where Iden Versio’s “Friend in Battle” Star Card and Boba Fett’s “Bounty Claimed” Star Card would show the wrong icon.
  • Star Wars Battlefront 2 update 1.24 fixed issues that would occasionally lead to lightsaber blocking not being able to deflect attacks from enemies.

OBI-WAN KENOBI

  • Fixed an issue where Emperor Palpatine’s “Chain Lightning” could damage Obi-wan, even when blocked.
  • Battlefront 2 update 1.24 addressed a visual clipping issue with Obi-Wan Kenobi’s fingers in the “Fighting Stance” Victory Pose, while the General Kenobi appearance was activated.
  • Star Wars Battlefront 2 1.24 fixed an issue where Obi-Wan’s “Your Move” emote would play out-of-sync, when playing in a language other than English.

DARTH MAUL

  • Fixed an issue where Darth Maul’s “Choke” ability would occasionally throw opponents in the opposite direction.

LEIA ORGANA

  • Battlefront 2 1.24 addressed an issue where Leia’s “Laser Brain” Epic Star Card would occasionally cause the alternative fire damage of Leia to vary when equipped. Alternative fire damage when “Laser Brain” is equipped is now consistently 190.

CAPTAIN PHASMA

  • Fixed an issue where Captain Phasma would not always take reduced damage when using the “Survivor” ability, while the “Not Hard Enough” Star Card was equipped.
  • Battlefront 2 1.24 addressed an issue where the “First Order Sentry Droid” ability was not always firing at targets that were too close.

GENERAL GRIEVOUS

  • Fixed an issue where General Grievous could occasionally use the “Thrust Surge” ability on a Speeder without animation or ability cooldown.

BOBA FETT

  • Star Wars Battlefront 2 update 1.24 fixed an issue where Boba Fett’s “For The Hunt” in-game UI was being triggered in the last spot where he activated it, rather than his actual location.

CHEWBACCA

  • Fixed an issue where Chewbacca would occasionally be able to use the Slam ability twice, when pressing the ability button at the end of the ability animation.

HAN SOLO

  • Battlefront 2 version 1.24 addressed an issue where Han Solo would occasionally be able to use the Shoulder Charge ability twice, when pressing the ability button at the end of the ability animation.

DARTH VADER

  • Fixed an issue where Darth Vader was able to jump twice if the “Focused Rage” ability was used mid-air.
  • Star Wars Battlefront 2 update 1.24 fixed an issue where Darth Vader was unable to move players while using “Force Choke”.

KYLO REN

  • Battlefront 2 version 1.24 addressed several issues that affected the gameplay of Kylo Ren’s “Frenzy” ability. It is now finding targets better and successfully doing multiple hits if only one target is available. If there are several targets, Kylo Ren will jump between them. A targeting system has now also been added for the ability.
  • As a result to above changes, the “Bloodlust” Star Card has now been changed so that Kylo Ren deals additional damage per strike, instead of increasing the amount of strikes. The possible total amount of damage that can be inflicted on a target is now 360 points.

SPECIALIST

  • Fixed an issue where the Specialist would cause too much melee damage when attacking from the back, with the “Stealth” Star Card equipped on Epic. Melee damage from the back should deal 150 points.

ASSAULT

  • Fixed a visual issue where smoke after the Acid Launcher ability was used would occasionally not show.

BLAST

  • Fixed an issue with the Squad Spawn default camera that prevented Naboo from being added to the Blast rotation.

EXTRACTION

  • Battlefront 2 update 1.24 adjusted exterior lighting in Jabba’s Palace, in order to improve gameplay during the final phase.

GEONOSIS (GALACTIC ASSAULT)

  • According to the official Battlefront 2 1.24 patch notes, the new update has fixed issues where players could get stuck on certain rock formations.
  • Fixed an issue where the Objective UI was misleadingly decreasing under certain circumstances in Phase 3 on Geonosis.
  • Star Wars Battlefront 2 update 1.24 fixed an issue where scoring events would not register while capturing the objective in Phase 3.
  • Overall VFX polish pass on Geonosis (Visual updates on toxic waterfall, Spider Droid explosions, size of backdrop AT-TE footprint effects, background lasers caused by Spider Droids).
